Madame Mouton founder, Dominique de Rouin, was raised in Quebec City. During her studies at the Graphic Art and Design School in Paris (ESAG), she was inspired by the amazing work of one of her teachers whom used wool as a medium. Throughout the years, she has studied various techniques that have helped her cultivate a singular style. Dominique moved to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, in September 2017. She is now devoted to her art full time. For the love of the wool.
